The coutour Dream Flutters pieces were custom-designed from my friend Marci’s new line of eco-friendly product Tagua Nut creations. This “vegetable ivory” is a renewable and sustainable product, and helps support the employment of nearly 35,000 people in the rainforests. I couldn’t help but get excited by the possibilities—and now Marci’s inspiration is has resulted in my own line of Dream Flutters jewelry!
Th lavendar pendant (hand carved from Tagua Nut and stained to match one of the central colors in my Dark Legacy cover), spotlights the raven and tree imagery from the novel. Hanging from a black silk cord and accented by solid gold fastenings, this necklace is finished with enamel and cloisonné charms at the clasp. It’s a truly breathtaking piece .

I’m thrilled to read that the necklace is made from a renewable resource. Can you give me more information on where to get them and how they are made. I’m fascinated with the gorgeous style and stunning color of the piece.

The pendant is very interesting.
We get a type of nut in Zimbabwe that also looks and feels like ivory and many types of curios are made from it.
I would love to have the pendant to compare it to some I have in “Fake Ivory”

Tagua Nuts make the most unique items.
Beads,carvings,buttons (BTW) did you know that they used tagua nut for the uniform buttons in WW2?
