Thanks for all your patience, my blog friends. Dark Legacy is revised, I took a trip to Boston to talk with the NEC romance writers, and now I’m working on line edits so DL can go to production next week.
The website/blog redesign is almost done, I have beautiful pics of jewelry I’m going to be using as giveaways for Dark Legacy promotion (and if you really like them and don’t win one, you just might be able to buy your own soon from my kick-ass jewelry designer friend Marci). See the pics below…
Oh, and I’m chatting all weekend over on Dangerous Women Writing. Check us out…it’s going to be a blast.

Robyn, the butterflies are the new look at my logo that the designer working on my site came up with. I can’t wait for everyone to see what she’s done with them ;o)
The colorful pendants are actually carved from nuts from the Brazilian rain forest. Marci found a Central American designer who dies and carves slices of these nuts, and we chose colors from Dark Legacy’s cover. The tree and bird in the image reflect dream images from the book, as well as the cover. Very cool!!! I’ll let Marci talk more about them in a week or so, once we’re ready to launch the entire look ;o)

I’m working on one more Atlanta Heroes (and who knows, there might just be more)–this one about a fire fighter and a secret baby he has with a federal relocation protectee (a la In Plain Sight). It should be out in early 2010… I’m having so much fun with it ;o)

I can’t wait to read the new book. This jewelry is amazing – kudos to the designer. Butterflies hold a special meaning to me because I am a Widow and I feel like I came out of my cocoon and spread my wings to fly on my own after my dear husband died. So I collect things with butterfly motifs to remind me that I am a butterfly floating on the winds of change. Keep up the fantastic writing!
